Hello. I’m Ritika and I am the owner of Monkey Puzzle Watford. My team and I are dedicated to giving every child the best start in life by caring for and supporting them to play, learn and grow in a positive and stimulating environment.

As soon as we open the door, you become part of our extended family. Your views, opinions and feedback are important to us, as we start our journey together.

A Day In Our Nursery

Healthy Eating

As children grow, a healthy and balanced diet is key, and we inspire with a variety of colour, texture, and taste to expand their food experiences.

Seasonal and local produce are also important in helping children understand more about where food comes from and nutrition.

All The Essentials 

  • Part of an award winning nursery group with over 30 years experience
  • Dedicated rooms for Babies, Tweenies, Toddlers and Preschool
  • Open Mon-Fri 51 weeks a year – 7.30am – 6.00pm
  • Full day or half day sessions available
  • Delicious, healthy food prepared on site by our Nursery Chef
  • Branded nappies, wipes and creams all included in the price
  • Regular outings to aid the children’s learning and awareness of their surroundings
  • Amazing outside play area with a dedicated area for Babies and Tweenies
  • Modern security systems, including CCTV
  • Key worker allocated to each child

It’s smiles all round with fun and inspiring days with child centred activities supported, guided, and encouraged by our passionate team.

Follow your child’s progress as they learn and develop through their learning journal with regular updates from our nursery team throughout their day with us.

During school readiness, we encourage our preschoolers to become more independent every day. 🌟

Simple tasks like serving their own food 🍎, wearing their shoes 👟, and dressing themselves 👕 help build confidence, responsibility, and self-help skills.

Our nursery is conveniently located near Watford town centre, amidst a GP surgery and a dental surgery. We are served well by transport links; a 9 minute walk from Watford Junction Station and a 15 minute walk from Watford Underground Station (Met line).
