Hello. I’m Ritika and I am the owner of Monkey Puzzle Watford. My team and I are dedicated to giving every child the best start in life by caring for and supporting them to play, learn and grow in a positive and stimulating environment.

As soon as we open the door, you become part of our extended family. Your views, opinions and feedback are important to us, as we start our journey together.

A Day In Our Nursery

Healthy Eating

As children grow, a healthy and balanced diet is key, and we inspire with a variety of colour, texture, and taste to expand their food experiences.

Seasonal and local produce are also important in helping children understand more about where food comes from and nutrition.

All The Essentials 

  • Part of an award winning nursery group with over 30 years experience
  • Dedicated rooms for Babies, Tweenies, Toddlers and Preschool
  • Open Mon-Fri 51 weeks a year – 7.30am – 6.00pm
  • Full day or half day sessions available
  • Delicious, healthy food prepared on site by our Nursery Chef
  • Branded nappies, wipes and creams all included in the price
  • Regular outings to aid the children’s learning and awareness of their surroundings
  • Amazing outside play area with a dedicated area for Babies and Tweenies
  • Modern security systems, including CCTV
  • Key worker allocated to each child

It’s smiles all round with fun and inspiring days with child centred activities supported, guided, and encouraged by our passionate team.

Follow your child’s progress as they learn and develop through their learning journal with regular updates from our nursery team throughout their day with us.

👑🎉 Yesterday, we celebrated the King's Birthday at nursery! 🎉👑

From making beautiful crowns to enjoying a lovely tea party, the children had a wonderful day full of fun, creativity, and celebration. 👑🫖🍰

The children proudly wore the crowns they made themselves and enjoyed spending time together with their friends during the special celebration. There was lots of laughter, excitement, and happy smiles throughout the day.

It was a fantastic opportunity to learn, celebrate, and create lasting memories together. ❤️

💙 Celebrating Father's Day at Nursery! 💙

We had a wonderful time celebrating Father's Day at nursery with our special Father's Day Stay and Play session.

It was lovely to welcome all the fathers who joined us for a fun-filled morning of activities, play, laughter, and quality time with their children. The children were excited to share their nursery environment and create precious memories together.

Seeing the smiles, teamwork, and joyful interactions between the children and their dads made the day truly special.

Thank you to all the fathers who took the time to join us and make this celebration so memorable. We hope you enjoyed it as much as the children did!

🐝 Buzz, buzz! Our little learners had a wonderful time exploring a fun bee-themed activity in the preschool room.

Our nursery is conveniently located near Watford town centre, amidst a GP surgery and a dental surgery. We are served well by transport links; a 9 minute walk from Watford Junction Station and a 15 minute walk from Watford Underground Station (Met line).
