Monkey Puzzle Watford has a varied and diverse team working in our nursery. We value warmth, friendly personalities, caring natures and professionalism alongside expertise in our staff.

Our team

Everyone brings a particular skill or energy to the team and everyone who joins us embarks on a voyage of discovery with the children, but also in their own personal and professional development. Our team ethic is very much that we can never stop learning from each other in order to achieve our shared visions and goals. We provide regular support, training and development opportunities for all team members to learn and grow to be the best that they can be.

We are currently recruiting staff in our nursery so if you would like to join us, get in touch and let us know! We’re always looking to welcome talented and passionate people into the Monkey Puzzle family!

Meet our Owner – Ritika

My name is Ritika and I am the proud owner of Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Watford. Previously, I worked in the insurance industry for 12 over years acquiring a strong financial and management background before taking a career break to raise our two children, Mahika and Maanvi. I am very much a hands-on mother with a great passion for quality childcare and the drive to run a successful business.

The idea came to me around three years ago when my kids entered into my life. Then I realised that working with children is something that I love and am truly passionate about. I love their energy, honesty and their total love of everything fun and exciting. I really enjoy sharing new ideas and experiences with them. My ethos is to create a fun, exciting and caring learning environment. I have a lot of patience, enthusiasm, creativity and enjoy helping children (and adults) to discover new things. I want my nursery to a place that is full of excitment and fun for the children and my staff. As long as children are given, love, support and encouragement they will succeed. Job satisfaction was the most important factor in choosing a career, and working with children, I believe, is the ultimate choice.

I feel my skillset from my previous experiences has helped to make this nursery a success and I cannot wait to see many more children taking their first steps and learning life skills in preparation for ‘big school’ and beyond.
